Vera J. Kong
Hi there - I’m Vera.
Once upon a time, I would have called myself a psychotherapist and group facilitator. Through personal experience and an ever-expanding journey of multidisciplinary growth, I’ve since evolved my work into a wider holistic therapeutic coaching practice centred on what I call Change Facilitation.
My main goal is to heighten my local contribution here in South West London - to bring communities together in an age of AI and social diffusion, to create platforms for genuine, real-life interaction, and to help people reconnect both with themselves and with their wider community.
I’ve been an avid musician since childhood, and today I’m fortunate to be accompanied by three gongs and several other instruments in my daily practice as a sound practitioner, coach, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapist.
I’m deeply passionate about change - both as a concept and as a lived experience - and I’m constantly exploring new ways in which transformation can be evoked. At the same time, I care profoundly about our relationship to the unknown - to nothingness, the universe, the void, ... there are so many names for it.
From time to time, I love to share my ever-evolving insights, experiences, and areas of knowledge or wisdom in community talks. These often centre around themes that weave together psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, spirituality, astology, the arts, sound, and even finance, integrating ideas in a fluid, non-linear way.
