At STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, we study the Universe from the smallest scales imaginable to the vast scales of space. We are excited to be holding an Open Day on Saturday 29 June 2024 - your chance to meet our engineers, technicians and scientists, who run large scale facilitities that enable us to learn more about our world, and to make a real, positive impact on people's lives: from studying solar cells and green ammonia to understanding viruses and antibodies. A core part of our mission is to share our amazing work with society, and so we run a regular programme of talks, tours and other events for schools and the public. Registration for the Open Day will open in mid-April 2024.
