St.Helens Sports Development Service is involved in many projects, from national and regional down to club level.

Grant aided programmes, including Community Sport ,can offer your club bursaries towards coaching qualifications.

We also lead on the National Schools Games Programme which promotes competition within the school sector and leads to regional and national competitions.

Our local projects are shaped by our Active St. Helens strategy and focus on Youth Sport, Women and Girls' participation and sports activities for the over 60s.
