Project Sponge

Project Sponge is working with the local community to plan for climate change and create better places for nature and people.

This means bringing together residents, within the Chalvey Ditches and Salt Hill Stream areas, to act as one, for a stronger and more sustainable response to the climate crisis.

It’s an opportunity for those within the area to raise their views, concerns and suggestions for change. To work shoulder to shoulder with others, sharing their knowledge, their experiences and their desire to create a neighbourhood that has the ability to bounce back from flooding and the wider effects of climate change.

You can join one of our Climate Action Cafes, and Flood Action Groups, are part of the plan to create Future Proof Neighbourhoods.
