Kika Degani
I’m Kika Degani, co-founder of Gaia Wellbeing Collective CIC, and I’ll be holding space for our circles. I am a trained facilitator with a background in ecology and community wellbeing, and my vision is that one day sharing circles will be the medicine prescribed by the NHS. For me, sitting in circle is about more than coming together, it’s about remembering that we all carry wisdom, and that when we listen deeply to one another, healing and connection naturally unfold. I bring warmth, presence, and gentle guidance, weaving together storytelling, reflection, and simple practices that help us feel grounded and connected.
At Gaia, our mission is to challenge the status quo to create a more inclusive, holistic approach to health. At the heart of our work is community, wellbeing, and accessibility. We cultivate belonging through shared experiences and support balance across mind, body, and spirit. Whether through our sharing circles, laughter sessions, outdoor fitness, or somatic classes, we help people reconnect with themselves, others, and the world around them.
Research and wisdom guide our work. We honour the wisdom of ancient practices while embracing modern science, ensuring everything we offer is effective and impactful. Where research is lacking, we gather data to measure outcomes and refine our approach.
Accessibility is central to our mission. Wellbeing should not be a privilege. We actively break down barriers; financial, physical, and cultural, so everyone has the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive. By offering practices that combine community, evidence-based insights, and a deep respect for nature, we aim to create change that is inclusive, sustainable, and transformative.
With love,
Kika
