Coastal Music Fest
Coastal Music Fest is a youth-led music festival showcasing local emerging artists from the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie regions. Hosted along some of Australia’s most iconic coastlines — including Caves Beach and Blacksmiths Beach — the festival brings live music to unique coastal locations while celebrating local talent.
Founded in 2025 by three young musicians, Coastal Music Fest was created to provide more opportunities for emerging artists to be recognised and perform for audiences who genuinely want to listen. What began as a small grassroots event has quickly grown into a recognised and expanding part of the Lake Macquarie live music scene.
Today, Coastal Music Fest continues to grow each year, remaining committed to supporting youth artists, fostering community connection, and creating accessible live music experiences in coastal environments.
