Cavernoma Alliance UK
Cavernoma Alliance UK (CAUK) is a national charity supporting people affected by cavernoma. Founded in 2005, we now support over 4,200 members through our peer support, trusted information, and awareness-raising, while actively funding and supporting research into treatments and potential cures.
A cavernoma is a cluster of abnormal blood vessels in the brain or spinal cord that can bleed without warning. Around 1 in 625 people has a cavernoma, though many never develop symptoms. For those who do, symptoms can include seizures, haemorrhages, and other neurological issues.
