The Muslim, Arab, and Palestinian Alliance (MAPA) at Boston University is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive community for faculty and staff from Middle Eastern backgrounds and their allies. MAP welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds and intersectional identities, including those who identify as LGBTQIA+ or represent various faiths and ethnicities. The network's mission is to create a space for members to share experiences, build connections, find solidarity, and celebrate cultural heritage. By organizing social gatherings, professional networking, mentoring opportunities, cultural celebrations, and discussions, MAP enhances the academic and social fabric of the university, ensuring that diverse identities are protected, celebrated, and valued.
