Peopleplace Cooperative Preschool

Peopleplace Cooperative Preschool is a licensed, accredited preschool for children 18-months to five years, located in Camden, Maine. For 42 years, we have provided an excellent early childhood education for hundreds of children across Knox and Waldo Counties and supported their families with both flexible and full-time childcare. Our programs are play-based and nature-based, following the Reggio Emilia model to foster the unique potential of every child. We embrace community through our cooperative model, where parents are partners in their child's education, nurturing their social and academic development alongside dedicated teachers and staff. We believe that all children and families deserve this experience and advocate at the state and local level to advance high-quality, affordable childcare for all.
