If you're using Eventbrite Payment Processing on Eventbrite.de and selling tickets in Euro, you can automatically accept payment through the widely-used SEPA Direct Debit at our standard fee rate.

En este artículo

  • 1. Go to your event dashboard.
  • 2. Go to Set Payments & Payouts.
  • 3. Set up Eventbrite Payment Processing.
  • 4. Check out your order form.
  • 5. Troubleshoot SEPA direct debit payments if needed.

1. Go to your event dashboard.

After logging in and creating an event, find your event on the Manage Events page, then select "Manage".

2. Go to Set Payments & Payouts.

3. Set up Eventbrite Payment Processing.

If you haven't already, select Eventbrite Payment Processing from the drop-down menu and enter the bank account information where you'd like your payout delivered. Now you're set up to accept payment by SEPA Direct Debit.

TIP: Setting up Eventbrite Payment Processing also automatically allows you to accept payment via SOFORT for German and Austrian events, and iDEAL for Dutch events at no extra cost.

NOTE: Make sure to click “Save” when you're finished.

4. Check out your order form.

When attendees register for your event, they can select SEPA Direct Debit, enter their bank details, and finalize their order.

TIP: You'll be able to view all SEPA Direct Debit orders when you access your orders report.

PRO TIP: Orders can't be refunded until the SEPA Direct Debit transaction settles. Attendees should contact their bank or credit card company to request a refund.

NOTE: The buyer's bank account will be charged within 2 business days if the account is in Germany, Austria, or Spain and within 6 business days if the account is in another EU country.

5. Troubleshoot SEPA direct debit payments if needed.

TIP: If you're attending an event and want to pay for Eventbrite tickets with SEPA direct deposit, check out this Help Center article.

NOTE: With SEPA Direct Debit, there is a delay of 2-6 business days between when a ticket-buyer registers and when the payment is settled. When a payment fails before the event, we'll cancel the ticket and the attendee can register again, but when a payment fails after the event has started, you'll have to arrange an alternate means of payment outside of Eventbrite, and we'll add a negative charge to the event to balance the funds. If there's another payout happening for the event, we'll deduct the charge from that payout.
