Speakeasy Theatre

Speakeasy Theatre is Melbourne's home for cabaret, burlesque, comedy and variety, tucked inside a heritage 1850s building on Flinders Street. Hidden behind a working speakeasy bar, the venue seats just 60 guests cabaret style, with red velvet, gold-embossed walls and a glow that carries you straight back to the golden age of vaudeville.

Across two intimate stages, the Apollo upstairs and the underground Vault below, we host a rotating program of dazzling performers, handcrafted cocktails and unforgettable nights out. Every show is close, lively and a little bit secret, the way a speakeasy should be.
